THAYMA SÁNCHEZ GÓMEZ

As a digital content producer, I’ve covered breaking news and written clear, engaging stories on a wide range of topics like immigration, politics and community. I also create short-form digital content for social media by clipping videos and editing them in Adobe Premiere. I also reported on-air stories.

In May 2025, I completed a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University. The program strengthened my understanding of legislative procedures, the relationship between Congress and the other branches of government, and the drafting of congressional memos and official documents. I also conducted research and developed legislative proposals with actionable policy recommendations on immigration reform, including measures related to DACA and TPS.
